There has been a worldwide globalisation process, with the objective of expanding the economic space to develop the productive activities and the services.

This new economic prospect generated numerous opportunities for the companies to promote international business. From this standpoint it is essential that the companies, which are in the productive and service field, could count on a legal support destined to deal with the different matters that may appear in connection with their performance in this new economic prospect.

It was within this context that in November 2002 Latin American Lawyer’s Association was created; it brings together a group of attorneys at law, which share the same philosophy and ethics, and efficiently apply the same working methods in order to obtain the best results for their clients.

Latin American Lawyers offers a wide range of services connected with the Latin American economic integration in commerce, industry or any other matter directly or indirectly attached to the business activity. In this way, the Association’s members are, in their respective countries, competent regarding business legal affairs and its national and international activities. [E.g.: Corporate law, Commercial contract, Foreign Investments, International Commercial law (including dumping), maritime and terrestrial transport law, Labour law, Tax law, Consumer Protection, Competition law, Administrative law, Banking law, Insurance law, etc.].

Law offices activities are practised not only in the consultancy area (not contentious), but also in the contentious area (including arbitration), having a vast long experience in a wide variety of lawsuits, which have been substantiated in different courts.

The Association integrates different jurisdictions, national and individual, to put them at companies’ disposal as international activity, being essential at this point the clarification that each law office operates independently inside their country, and according to the best legal practice, with which are widely familiarised in their respective country.
